Divine Comedy

Heading towards the main stage at Latitude yesterday and it started to rain. Don’t worry said Geri if lightening strikes we’ll be ok as the seats are plastic. Yes plastic Geri, not rubber and on a huge metal platform!

Anyway, we donned red, baggy, plastic festival macs and on the way down said platform, I caught the baggy sleeve on a bottle of water sticking out of some guys backpack. Luckily it pulled me back and not him down the stairs.

Rain gone, sun out and we move to the front to get closer to the performance and find the others in our group. Suddenly we see Geri’s daughter Emily on the big screen and we jump up and down waving and calling “Emily we are here” at the screen. Just a few odd looks
