Summer Solstice

So this morning I headed down to Ness Point to watch the sunrise at 4.30 am. This is in Lowestoft and the most easterly point in England. Despite living in Lowestoft for nearly 3 years and having come here for the last two solstices – I got lost! By the time I got here, people were leaving and the sun had started to rise. The bonus is it was cloudy so I pretended the clouds were the horizon and watched it shimmer above them – I always get there in the end!
