Cooking Iron

Feeling very tired, I decided I probably needed a bit more iron in my diet. I love liver and bacon but hadn’t had it for ages.  I went to the shops in my lunch break and bought lambs liver, bacon and gluten free gravy. I got home. Peeled the tats and boiled them for mashing. As I started to get the liver out of the packet I noted it was looking a bit anaemic. I rinsed it anyway and started to put it in the frying pan and that’s when I noticed they had kindly cut my liver in neatly styled kidney shapes.
