Power

So today I’ve waited for the kettle to boil and the griddle to cook the chops without switching them on but at least this only delayed things for a few minutes.

Electricity is not our thing recently – Mark stayed very calm when he missed the first 10 minutes of the match at the weekend as the sky box would not turn on. It took us all that time to discover the power cable had become disconnected. Not quite as bad as the  as the other week, when following a weekend of worrying the fridge was on its way out, we discovered  the warm milk on the monday morning was a sign it had definitely gone…… then Mark realised it had been switched off at the wall. I reckon Geri thought it was the light switch on Friday night.

Still at least it didn’t cost us £20 call out fee for the repair man to tell us this – as it did with the washing machine.
